for life and really become immersed in another culture.

They
can apply for:
a) A year Programme and go to approximately 30 countries.
There are two departures in the year.

c) A Short programme – up to 3 months – 5 countries.
d) Ministry of Education Scholarships (fully funded) to
go to Japan. Students must be studying Japanese for this
award.

HOSTING
AN AFS STUDENT
AFS
is looking for families who would like to host a student
from a range of countries. Have an international adventure
in your home! These students should have arrived one month
ago but sdly they have not been able to come to begin their
amazing experience. Having waited for a year or more to
come, right now there are still 24 students worrying about
whether they will be able to get here. Without a family
and a school this is not possible. These students come from
Russia, Germany, USA, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands,
Czech republic and Hong Kong.
Here
are some profiles of the possible students. Year Programme
(approx 12 months, but this can be divided between 2 families)
Contact Mrs
Sommerville at the school if you can host a student.
