Year 9 ICT

10 Weeks

This subject gives students experience in a wide range of Digital Tools and introduces basic keyboarding techniques. It covers some of the basic computer skills students require at high school and across the curriculum.

Web Page Design

Introduction to Webpage Design - Level 2

This subject has been designed for students' who have an interest in the aspects of webpage design.  It covers learning the basics of XHTML and CSS coding.  Students' will design websites for scratch and edit images for inclusion with the content.

Webpage Design Level 3 

Semester or Full Year

NCEA Level 3

Students who have an interest in the aspects of webpage design.  Software used is Macromedia Dreamweaver and GIMP.  A client will be required for some assessment topics. 

Prerequisite: Must have completed minimum US 25656.
