  • Commitment to promotion of Gateway and other initiatives in a positive light
  • Provide catch up work for students when asked for
  • Provide reassessment opportunities where possible for students
  • Support students in their Gateway learning plans where possible
  • Reduction in class sizes
  • Support the Gateway process in ensuring students meet their obligations to employers
  • Monitor students for Gateway suitability and capability and advise Gateway liaison teachers or Coordinator where appropriate
  • Promote Gateway through your own networks
  • Gateway generally provides a more focused and compliant student
  • Gateway placements can offer a contextual experience that may provide relevance to your taught curriculum material
