A Message From The Principal

DEAR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS

On behalf of the Forest View High School team, I extend a warm welcome to all interested visitors to our school website. We continuously strive to become a caring learning community where student learning and achievement is our core business. Our teachers are committed professionals who continually reflect on their pedagogy to improve student achievement. Each student at Forest View High School is a valued individual and teachers endeavour to personalise the learning experience so that learning and achievement is optimised.

Forest View is a “RAP” school. This encompasses our three core values: Respectful Relationships, Aiming to Achieve and Positive Participation. Every student and teacher is treated as an individual with dignity and value. This provides a warm and caring environment that promotes standards of discipline and self-discipline. The school’s commitment to Restorative Practices is further evidence of our focus on developing a caring learning environment.

I am confident that the quality educational Forest View High School offers combined with a positive attitude towards achievement will equip our students with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to positively embrace the challenges of post-secondary school.
