SCHOOL SIGN
In October 1999, the school sign was erected and blessed at the front of the school.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Forest View High School has a series of policies and procedures which form the School's Quality Management System and cover all areas required by NZQA to offer Unit Standards and Achievement Standards under the National Qualifications Framework. These policies and procedures are evaluated annually under the management of the Deputy Principal in charge. The School has received accreditation from NZQA to offer unit standards in both conventional and non conventional areas.

The Quality Assurance Manual is updated biannually and it is particularly important that HOD's and Teachers in Charge of subjects are aware of the requirements laid out in the Manual. The basis of the Manual is the policies of the School.

STRATEGIC PLAN
We are currently developing the school Strategic Plan (2008 – 2010). We will complete this by the end of March 2008. Improving student learning and achievement will be the core driver of this plan.

ANNUAL PLAN
Each year an Annual Plan is published. This is derived from the direction and main focus of our Strategic Plan. Each Curriculum area is required to set two key targets (junior/senior) and report these to the Principal by the end of February. The Principal will set two targets from these report as school targets to be included in the annual plan.
