edCentre provides information about New Zealand education and access to educational services and advice.

Education Gazette is a publication that discusses current educational issues and lists education and teaching vacancies.

Education Review Office (ERO) ERO reviews schools and early childhood education services every three years, and publishes national reports on current education practice.

Multi-Serve Education Trust provides independent consultancy and professional development services to schools.

Teach NZ is a Ministry of Education organisation with information about everything from the NZ teaching environment to teaching scholarships.

Tertiary Education Commission is responsible for funding the Government's contribution to tertiary education and training.

Te Kete Ipurangi (TKI)– The Online Learning Centre is a bilingual portal-plus web community which provides quality assured educational material for New Zealand teachers, school managers, and the wider education community.

The New Zealand Council for Educational Research is an independent educational research organisation with a bicultural focus. NZCER provides information, advice and assistance to those involved in education including policymakers, teachers, advisors or researchers.

The New Zealand Educational Institute Te Riu Roa (NZEI ) is New Zealand 's largest education union supporting teachers and support staff working in primary, area and secondary schools and early childhood centres.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) quality-assures secondary and tertiary qualifications and education providers, evaluates overseas qualifications and administers the New Zealand Register of Quality Assured Qualifications and the National Qualifications Framework, including NCEA.

The New Zealand Teachers Council provides information about the process of Teacher Registration, an online register of teachers with a current practising certificate and access to application forms.

The Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand is an organisation for teachers run by teachers with a focus on professional issues.

Centre for Maori and Pacific Development Research
Research institution at the University of Waikato.

Hana Limited Teaching resources in te reo Maori: Te ao Hurihuri, designed to meet New Zealand curriculum standards at levels 3 and 4: Maori cosmology, astronomy and creation story; Ahurea ki Tua for secondary school students, an adaptation of a resource called Cultural Futures and He Puia, he Iwi, retellings of Maori legends.

Maori Education Trust = Te Kaupapa Matauranga Mo Te Iwi Maori
The Trust's core activities comprise: advocacy for improved Maori educational achievement ; promoting tino rangatirotanga in education development ; administration and sponsorship of a wide variety of scholarships and grants; the establishment of Te Manatu Matauranga Maori, an autonomous Maori education authority.

Maori in mainstream : te tere auraki The professional development strategy Te Tere Auraki (to 'navigate the mainstream river') is focused on improving teaching and learning for Maori students in mainstream schools.

Rauemi reo Maori : New Zealand maths
Maori language mathematics site which provides teachers with units of work and activities to support the teaching of mathematics in the New Zealand curriculum.

TAKOA : te aka Kumara o Aotearoa : A directory of Maori organisations and resource people. Information about scholarships available through various sources, iwi map and Maori canoe resource.

Te Hiringa i te Mahara = The Power of the Mind
A national professional development project for Maori secondary school teachers, especially teachers of Te Reo Maori and Maori departments.

New Zealand History Online a resource for teachers

New Zealand Post Primary Teachers Association. The PPTA is a voluntary trade union and professional association. Teachers employed in state and integrated secondary schools, area schools, technicraft centres and community education centres are eligible to join the Association.
