Understanding Junior Reports
The report identifies the curriculum level that students are working within or moving towards. The curriculum levels relevant to the Junior school are levels 3, 4, 5, and 6.
- WL3 means working within Curriculum level 3
- ML4 means working within Curriculum level 4
- WL4 means working within Curriculum level 4
- ML5 means working within Curriculum level 5
- WL5 means working within Curriculum level 5
- ML6 means working within Curriculum level 6
- WL6 means working within Curriculum level 6
In order to ensure readiness for NCEA in year 11, most year 9 students should be working within curriculum level 4 or moving towards curriculum level 5.
Year 10 students should be working within curriculum level 5 or moving towards curriculum level 6.
The appropriate curriculum level is indicated by the shaded area on the report.
